Yesterday we had a visit from the Science Roadshow. The focus of the session was Sound Waves.
Some of the main messages about Sound Waves were the closer they were to the person the bigger the sound and further away from the person the least sound you will hear because are a further away from the person so you won’t hear it but the closer you are it travels past you so you can hear it clearer.
Something I enjoyed the most was looking at all the cool stuff they had because they had all these cool stuff there like a mirror that makes you skinnier and then back to normal size.
My favourite part of the Science Roadshow was the show that we watched. It was really cool to watch them have a fire because they had fire thing that went up and down the volume.
Something I will take away from this visit was that science is actually pretty fun with all the cool stuff they have because they have my favourite science thing, which is a bowling ball that you lift up and then drop and this tiny ball comes out.
What happens when you walk past a car that is using its horn is it loud at the start?
